TOURIST VISA
The Embassy of Mexico issues visa for Tourists, Business and Trans migrant crew and seamen.
TOURIST VISA
FORMALITIES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PROCESSING THE APPLICATION FOR TOURIST VISA
Personally submit an application form that is provided free of charge by the Consular Section of this Embassy,
along with one passport size picture.
Undergo an interview with the Consular Officer.
Confirmed Return Air Tickets.
Proof of holding a permanent position in an established governmental, educational or commercial company or
organization for the last three years.
Original proof of financial solvency i.e. Income Tax Assessment Order, Credit Card(s), Bank Statements, Titles of
property etc.
Foreign Exchange Release Order from the Reserve Bank of India.
Valid visa of the countries to be visited or transited before and after staying in Mexico.
No visa will be granted on passports without previous background of traveling abroad.
Reference letters of at least two bona fide persons with address and telephone numbers.
No travel agents are allowed to represent the applicant.
BUSINESS VISA
FORMALITIES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PROCESSING THE APPLICATION
FORMALITIES
· Personally submit the Visa Application.
· Undergo an interview with the Consular Officer to determine the proper status and purpose of the traveller in
order to issue the proper migratory documents.
· Two passport size pictures and confirmed return Air Tickets.
REQUIREMENTS
· A covering letter stating your company's trade records, specific plans of business you will undertake in Mexico
(i.e. Transfer of Technology, business discussions, co-investment, imports, exports etc.) and the position held by
the Applicant within the company.
· Confirmed invitation to the embassy's fax No. 4107185 from the Mexican Representative guaranteeing
repatriation/bearing.
· Written proof of having established previous contacts with Mexican companies for your business proposal.
· Company's legal registration with the appropriate authorities of your country and membership in any chamber of
Commerce & Industry.
· Profile of the Company and your financial Bank Statements or any other statement of financial solvency like
Income Tax Assessment Order, Credit Card(s), Bank Statements, Titles of property etc.
· Visas of the countries to be visited or transited before and after stay in Mexico.
No travel agents are allowed to represent the Applicant.
TRANSMIGRANT VISA FOR CREW /SEAMEN
FORMALITIES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PROCESSING THE APPLICATION
FORMALITIES
Submit personally an application form that is provided by our Embassy.
Three passport size pictures.
Confirmed Air Tickets.
Undergo an interview with our Consular Officer.
Present continuous Discharge Certificate / SEA MEN'S BOOK updated.
Contract signed by the applicant with both the shipping companies involve in the enrolment of the SEA MAN or
CREW MEMBER.
REQUIREMENTS
A copy of your company's legal registration with appropriate authorities of your country.
Confirmed letter of support from Mexican Shipping Company taking full responsibility of your enrolment in the
Ship and at the Port of Embarkation. This has to be sent to the embassy's Fax No. 4107185 from Mexico.
Valid visas for the countries you are in transit before arrival in Mexico and on the return trip to India.
Written proof of having established previous contacts with CREW MEXICAN SHIPPING COMPANIES for
the specific purpose in your contract wit the Shipping Co.
A copy of your company's legal registration with appropriate authorities of your country and, if possible,
membership in any Chamber of Commerce and /Industry.
A copy of your company's financial Bank Statements or any other statement of financial solvency.
No visas will be granted on passports having no other countries visas.
No travel agents allowed.
